To be able to use the ELN LMS, the user must create an ELN account. Each account is activated manually shotly before the initial placement interview with its owner to ensure GDPR compliance. A minor’s account can be created only after the minor’s legal guardian’s (eg parent’s) account has been activated. The two accounts are then linked until the minor comes of age or the guardian asks for deletion of both accounts. Please note that once an ELN account has been activated and its holder has attended and/or created training sessions, or has created LO objects or courses, it cannot be deleted completely if the content that has been created cannot be deleted for taxation-related reasons. Yet, it can be pseudonymized (i.e. partially deleted) in compliance with GDPR.
